 | | Terrier to be awarded working points must willingly locate the quarry underground in a natural earth (man-made earths are not |
| | acceptable).

 | | The terrier must be totally out of sight underground.
|
 | | The terrier must bay at the quarry in such a manner that the hunt person would be able to locate the terrier even without an electronic |
| | collar. (PLEASE NOTE: FOR SAFETY AN ELECTRONIC COLLAR SHOULD ALWAYS BE USED WHEN HUNTING YOUR TERRIER.)

 | | The terrier must work until the quarry is drawn or dug to. Work is defined as barking, digging, lunging, biting and worrying the quarry.

 | | The terrier must either bolt or draw the quarry, or, there must be no doubt that the terrier is working right up to the quarry. This will |
| | require that the hunt person dig to the terrier and quarry.
|
 | | Acceptable quarry are groundhog, fox, opossum, and raccoon, other quarry maybe considered upon request.

 | | The 5 points for this award will count only if the quarry is in season, only three certificates will count toward the year end award tally.
|
 | | Points will not count from March 1 - May 1 as this is the time that there are babies in the dens.
