    Annual Events

    The BWTA has three annual events, two of which are larger trials.  Below is a short description of
    our these events.

    Spring Fling
    A fun day for all dogs in the family held at the Spencer County Fairgrounds in Taylorsville KY.
    Classes for this trial include :
  • terrier and dachshund races
  • agility
  • barn hunt
  • brush hunt
  • go to ground (GTG)
  • obedience
  • lure coursing
    Those who are interested may participate in the versatility award where points are accrued from
    each discipline and combined for the Versatility High Point Champion.

    High Hope Steeplechase
    A day at the races is not the same without terrier and dachshund racing and GTG.  The High
    Hope Steeplecahse at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY is a day to enjoy with the whole
    family.  
    Horses and dogs have gone together for centuries, why not bring your terrier or dachshund to the
    races?

    Pre-entries are not required.
